ABOUT

I’m Janine, conceptual art director and designer. New Yorker by birth, Londoner by choice. I help brands connect with their audience through platform agnostic creative ideas, fuelled by mineral water and bags of Haribo. I also have a thing for ice cream vans, typography and signs. Here are nine facts about me…

+ To signify the civil partnership law coming into effect, I created an image that was projected onto the House of Commons and was featured on the front page of THE GUARDIAN and THE NEW YORK TIMES.

+ My addiction to snapping photos has resulted in my work being featured on the SCHMAP GUIDE.

+ You could very well have heard my voice on NME radio. Unfortunately, I can’t get you backstage.

+ I have appeared on RICHARD and JUDY, but never got round to joining their book club.

+ My likeness has been used in the films MUSIC & LYRICS, THE WOMEN and I AM LEGEND.

+ My voice has been sampled in a techno song called 'Shopping in the Ghetto' by SYNTHETIC PLEASURES.

+ I met BILL CLINTON. And no, there wasn’t any funny business.

+ I've won a Congressional Art award and my work was displayed at the NASSAU COUNTY MUSEUM of ART

+ At the tender age of 10, I helped name the space shuttle ENDEAVOUR. Yes really.
